You do not have to be a fantastic hero to do certain things, to compete. You can be just an ordinary chap, sufficiently motivated to reach challenging goals. It is never too late to be what you might have been. Imagine you only have one year to live. What important things would you be doing? How would you be allotting your time to accomplish the most you could? This exercise is one method of going after your priorities. Energy and persistence conquer all things. Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no ones definition of your life, but define yourself. It is by what we ourselves have done, and not by what others have done for us, that we shall be remembered in after ages.

First we will be best, and then we will be first. Do not tell me this a difficult problem. If it were not difficult it would not be a problem. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. Success or failure depends more upon attitude than upon capacity. Successful people act as though they have accomplished or are enjoying something. Soon it becomes a reality. Act, look, feel successful, conduct yourself accordingly, and you will be amazed at the positive results. All who seek the roots of life dig in solitude for them.
