Until you try, you do not know what you cannot do. Change and growth take place when a person has risked himself, and dares to become involved in experimenting with his own life. Some people have greatness thrust upon them. Very few have excellence thrust upon them. It is by what we ourselves have done, and not by what others have done for us, that we shall be remembered in after ages. You do not have to be a fantastic hero to do certain things, to compete. You can be just an ordinary chap, sufficiently motivated to reach challenging goals.

You cannot pick cherries with your back to the tree. People are not remembered by how few times they fail but by how often they succeed. Every wrong step is another step forward. Do not compromise yourself. You are all you have got. Have no fear of perfection you will never reach it. Why not go out on a limb? That is where the fruit is If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.
